Pimlico is a very interesting area with local shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a food market within walking distance, which guest do enjoy. It is not far from the River and recently redeveloped Battersea Power Station, which is a nice new place to visit. Parliamentarians do live in this area as it is near the Houses of Parliament, at the Palace of Westminster, which also houses Big Ben. The Tate Gallery is also nearby.
Both Victoria and Pimlico stations are about 10 minutes away on foot, giving easy access to 3 Tube lines, as well as main line rail services from Victoria. Victoria main line goes to Gatwick, and out into the out of town country areas.
